Handling and Facilitating Ticket Payments

Silver Glider Tickets is a platform that facilitates ticket transactions between fans and event hosts. Event hosts who publish events on Silver Glider Tickets act as the merchant of record for their respective ticket sales. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. on behalf of the event host. When you purchase tickets, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe. Silver Glider Tickets receives transaction confirmation and associated personal data including your name, email address, and purchase details solely for the purposes of issuing tickets, maintaining your account, and facilitating the transaction between you and the event host.

Ticket Issuance and Purchase History

When you purchase a ticket through Silver Glider Tickets, a digital ticket is generated and issued to you. This ticket contains your name and email address and is linked to your account. The event host will have access to your name and email address for the purposes of guest list management, event entry, and attendee communication. Silver Glider Tickets retains your ticket purchase history for a minimum of 7 years for accounting, legal compliance, and customer service purposes.

In the event of a refund or chargeback, your transaction data may be shared between Silver Glider Tickets, the event host, and Stripe to process and resolve the transaction.

Event Host Application Data

When you submit a Request Access application to become an event host on Silver Glider Tickets, we collect your first name, last name, email address, venue or project name, city, and optionally your website or Instagram URL and a description of your shows. This data is used solely to review and process your application. Approved host application data is retained for the duration of the host relationship plus 3 years. Declined application data is retained for 12 months.

Public Host Profiles

When a host account is approved, a public profile is created on Silver Glider Tickets. This profile may include the host's name, venue or project name, city, and event listings. This information is publicly visible to all users of the platform. To request removal or modification of public profile information, contact contact@silverglidertickets.com.

Follower Relationships

Fans on Silver Glider Tickets may follow public profiles of artists, venues, and promoters. Following a public profile is a public action. Event hosts can see the number of followers on their profile. Individual follower identities are not publicly displayed but may be accessible to the host for the purposes of notifying followers of new events. Users may unfollow a profile at any time through their account settings.

Silver Glider Tickets operates a telephone service called The Silver Glider Line (+1 (844) 261-6758) which provides a weekly recorded message featuring upcoming shows and events. No personal data is collected through inbound calls to The Silver Glider Line.

If you provide your phone number and consent to receive SMS communications from Silver Glider Tickets, you agree to receive text messages related to events, ticket confirmations, weekly event drops, and platform updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

Weekly Event Drop Email Subscription

Silver Glider Tickets offers a weekly email drop featuring upcoming shows in your city (San Francisco or Los Angeles). When you subscribe, we collect your email address and city preference. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting contact@silverglidertickets.com. Your email address will be removed from the subscription list within 10 business days of your request.
